Students must officially withdraw from the university to receive a refund of tuition and fees. If a student officially withdraws after the end of the official late registration period, the student's bill will be reduced on a prorated basis.
- If withdrawal occurs in the first two weeks after the end of the official late registration period, 40 percent of tuition and fees will be refunded.
- If withdrawal occurs between two and four weeks after the end of the official late registration period, 20 percent of tuition and fees will be refunded.
- Tuition and fees are not refundable after four weeks from the close of the late registration period.
- If a student has received financial aid (other than College Work Study) and officially withdraws from the University during the academic term, a portion of the aid may need to be refunded to the Title IV programs, or the student may need to repay a portion of the award funds received.
