Summer Visiting Students

NCCU Summer Sessions

Registration begins on March 17, 2025. Choose Summer I, Summer II or both in 2025.

Summer I: May 20–June 23
Summer II: June 26–July 25
Dual session: May 20–July 25

Courses will be available in various formats, including traditional face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online.

Visiting/Summer Undergraduate Students

Students who want to earn academic credit (up to 12 semester hours for undergraduate students) but are not admitted to NCCU or who are not in a degree-seeking program can enroll as visiting students. Learn more at the NCCU Admissions page.

Visiting/Summer Student Requirements:

Please note: Visiting students are ineligible for financial aid. If you are attending North Carolina Central University for Summer only and have questions about financial aid, please contact your home institution.

Summer Housing

Housing is available during the summer. Living on-campus requires students to be enrolled in at least one course in summer sessions.
