Message from the Chair

Greetings Eagle Staff,

I am Ariel V. Germain, and I have the distinct privilege to serve as the Staff Senate Chair for North Carolina Central University (NCCU) for the 2024–2025 and 2025-2026 academic terms. In this role, I am committed to advocating for our staff’s needs, championing open communication, and fostering a culture of respect and recognition for your invaluable contributions at the Nest and directly to our students.

Our staff members are the backbone of NCCU, each playing a vital role in ensuring the success of our students, faculty, and the university’s mission of “Truth and Service.” I believe that when we work together, with transparency and collaboration, we create a supportive environment where everyone can thrive. The staff senate exists to amplify our voices, address concerns, and collaborate with the administration to make NCCU an even better place for all.

Under the direction of our 13th chancellor, Dr. Karrie G. Dixon, we are focused on initiatives that enhance staff morale, professional growth, and engagement. We are committed to addressing challenges that impact your daily work life and exploring opportunities for innovation and well-being throughout our community.
