At North Carolina Central University, academic excellence is celebrated through various honors and recognitions. One such distinction is the Dean's List, which includes all juniors and seniors who are on the Honor Roll and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Students who complete at least 12 credit hours for full-time enrollment in a semester and earn a GPA of 3.0 or higher, without any grade lower than “D,” are recognized as honor students. The Honor Roll is divided into two categories:
- "A" Honor Roll: Students with a perfect 4.0 GPA for the semester.
- "B" Honor Roll: Students with a semester GPA between 3.0 and 3.99.
Beyond these honors, NCCU also recognizes students through the Chancellor’s Award, departmental academic honors, and membership in scholarly groups, honor societies, and scholarship programs.
Congratulations to all who continue to demonstrate academic excellence at NCCU!
