The university will operate under Condition 1 (Reduced Operations) of the Adverse Weather and Emergency Event Policy on Monday, March 16, effective at 12 p.m. through 11:59 p.m. A strong storm system will bring widespread hazardous weather conditions to the region.
Classes scheduled to start at 12 p.m. or later will be held virtually. Non-essential staff will work remotely.
1. Purpose
The purpose of this regulation is to provide the regulation for utilizing small businesses and HUBs when procuring goods and services.
2. Scope
Applies to all faculty and staff procuring goods.
3. Small Businesses and HUBs
3.1 State agencies shall give small and historically underutilized businesses (HUBs) fair consideration as subcontractors and suppliers.
3.1.1 State agencies must use their best efforts to establish procedures and practices to accomplish this goal, regardless of funding sources
