Considering the ongoing winter weather event affecting Durham and surrounding areas, the university will extend the current Condition 2 status (Suspended Operations) of the Adverse Weather and Emergency Event Policy through Friday, Feb. 21, at 11:59 p.m. An update about Saturday’s operations will be shared on Friday afternoon. All non-essential campus operations are suspended during this period.

North Carolina Central University Chancellor Search Advisory Committee Announced

RALEIGH, N.C. – University of North Carolina System President Peter Hans today announced the formation of a 13-member committee that will search for the next chancellor of North Carolina Central University.

James H. Johnson Jr., a 1975 NCCU alumnus and William R. Kenan Jr. Distinguished Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, will chair the search advisory committee.
