North Carolina Central University (NCCU) has launched the planning process for its 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, an initiative designed to guide the university’s direction over the next five years.
This new plan will build on NCCU’s achievements to advance its mission, strengthen its foundation of excellence and position the university to meet the evolving needs of its community and higher education.
NCCU invites students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, community members and industry partners to participate in a strategic planning survey. The university encourages all members of the NCCU community to share their perspectives, experiences and ideas. This input will be vital in identifying priorities and shaping a shared vision for the years ahead.
“We are building on a rich legacy while looking boldly toward the future,” said Chancellor Karrie G. Dixon. “Your voice will help shape the strategic priorities that will guide NCCU through the next chapter of our growth and impact.”
To support this effort, NCCU is partnering with MGT Consulting, a nationally recognized firm specializing in higher education and strategic planning. Through this collaboration, NCCU will gather and analyze broad-based community input. The survey is confidential and voluntary and does not collect any personally identifiable information. Written comments, however, will be shared verbatim with members of the Strategic Planning Steering Committee to ensure transparency and authenticity in the review process.
The deadline to complete NCCU’s Strategic Planning Survey is Wed., April 23, 2025.
