Dear Eagle Community:

We know how much Homecoming means to each of you, and we are grateful for the spirit of togetherness and celebration we shared this week. Unfortunately, two incidents occurred that impacted our Ultimate Homecoming Experience and have weighed heavily on us all.

Please know that these incidents are under active investigation by state and local law enforcement. While we’re unable to share further details right now, we want to assure you that North Carolina Central University's commitment to your safety and well-being is our highest priority.

As soon as we’re able, we will provide additional information. Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to maintain a safe environment for everyone.
