Message from the Chancellor: Happy Thanksgiving, Eagles!

Posted November 25, 2020, 2:49PM

Dear Eagles:

During this season of gratitude, I would like to say Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and your families. This has been a difficult year due to COVID-19 and we recognize the sacrifices you have made. I pray that you take this time with your immediate household to get rest, give thanks and reflect on what you are thankful for. While you may not be physically present with your loved ones, be certain to use technology to connect with family and friends who are an important part of your life.

As a reminder, please ensure you follow the health and safety guidelines and recommendations of local, state and federal health officials, recognizing that COVID-19 remains active as a global pandemic. Students: We need you to return to us healthy in January. Faculty and Staff: Be safe during your time off. Alumni: Stay safe in your communities.

Happy Thanksgiving!

In Truth and Service,

Johnson O. Akinleye, Ph.D., Chancellor
