Eagle Idea Competition

Gifts to the Eagle Idea Competition support an entrepreneurship program open to all NCCU students that develop and mentor students who have ideas for a business start-up. The five-week program culminates with finalists presenting their business idea to a panel of judges for cash prizes.

The NCCU School of Law New Institute for Social Justice and Racial Equality Initiative will provide educational outreach on social justice, anti-racism and other equity concerns. The four-part initiative will collaborate with the School of Business and the Department of Criminal Justice through its Juvenile Justice Institute.

Performance-Based Admission Program

The NCCU School of Law offers a conditional admission program, the Performance-Based Admission Program (PBAP). We are proud to be a law school that trains attorneys who become leaders and serve their various communities around the state, country, and world. Applicants selected for this program have an opportunity to gain admission for the fall semester upon successful completion of the summer program.

Transitions Program

The Transitions Program is a campus-based support program for students who are facing homelessness and food insecurity. The initiative aims to provide assistance and resources to support the needs of this student population. The program provides food through the Transitions Pantry at no cost to students who are facing food insecurity, assists with housing instability by identifying resources, and offers life skills seminars focused on financial literacy, leadership development, personal growth, and health and wellness.

Women’s Achievement Center

The Women’s Achievement Center empowers students to find their voices by promoting personal and professional development and celebrating the strengths and aspirations of women. Through structured "edutainment," we focus on managing healthy relationships and women's unique leadership experiences in society.

Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence and Equity Research

Your support is needed for the Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence and Equity Research (LAIER), which will encompass work on a diverse set of topics within artificial intelligence related to (1) machine learning, (2) human-computer interaction, (3) diversity and inclusion and the disparities of impact on our everyday life. The lab was founded in 2020 by Dr. Siobahn Grady.

SLIS Digital Archives and Record Management Lab

Your support is needed to update the equipment for the SLIS Digital Archives and Record Management lab for students to train on how to do remote collaboration to digitize special collections for the Black Caucus of the American Library Association and the Dr. EJ Jossey papers.
