Gabe Rios is the library director at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He has recently been a mentor to NLM/AAHSL Leadership Fellows and has served on the executive board of the Medical Library Association, chairing the 2011 national MLA meeting. He has developed innovative programs, services and collections, including the integration of evidence-based medicine and critical appraisal into all years of the Indiana medical school curriculum. At Indiana, his library manages the data management plans for the Medical School and electronic lab notebooks. He has been a contributing author on papers about systematic reviews and meta-analysis related to delirium. He has also written about training tools and course development for the interdisciplinary care of older adults.
