The mission of the Student Government Association (SGA) at NCCU is to preserve and defend the rights and privileges of students, promote self-governance, guarantee a student voice and involvement in university decisions, and serve the common interest of our students.
The 2023–2024 SGA president, Cameron Emery, hails from Champagne, Ill., and the SGA vice president, Amaiya Nesmith, hails from Charlotte, N.C. Emery is a member of the class of 2024, and Nesmith is a member of the 2025 class.
