General Information
The Curriculum Materials Center (CMC) is the library for students and faculty involved in the teacher education program. The resources selected for the Center are mainly items that would complement and foster the objectives of teacher education.
Some types of materials that can be found in the Curriculum Materials Center are as follows:
- State-adopted textbooks for grades K-12
- Curriculum handbooks and guides for grades K-12
- Sample lesson plans
- Kits, games, and flashcards
- Activity books for classroom teachers
- Juvenile and young adult fiction and non-fiction
- Bilingual books
- Big books
Audiovisual materials and equipment can also be found in the Curriculum Materials Center. Equipment available for use includes computers for student use, a smartboard, and other audiovisual equipment most likely to be found in a classroom today.
Although the CMC collection is primarily for the students and faculty in the teacher education program, all students and faculty of the university are encouraged to use the collection.
