The James E. Shepard Memorial Library presents "Juneteenth: Looking Back While Moving Forward."
The virtual event will include special presentations about the history of Juneteenth along with a panel discussion regarding criminal justice reform, economic wealth, African American women leadership, and the role of the black church in the African American community.

- Attorney Irving Joyner, Professor, NCCU School of Law
- Dr. Seronda Robinson, Chair, NCCU Public Health Education Department
- Dr. Henry McKoy, Director of Entrepreneurship, NCCU School of Business
- Rev. Dr. Michael Page, Director, NCCU External Affairs and Government Relations
The event will be moderated by Andre Vann, NCCU University Archives Coordinator and Public History Instructor.
