Zaneta R. Ponton is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at North Carolina Central University. Her areas of specialization include accent and dialect modification, culturally responsive service provision and clinical supervision. She expertly applies these skills to underserved populations across the lifespan and assumes leadership roles in local and state organizations. She has served in clinical education and administration at the university level for over 17 years and currently serves as a clinical educator within the department.
