Terry Mosley is a historian of North Carolina and labor history. Professor Mosley took an unconventional route to the classroom, working as a quality control manager in both ceramics and textiles. In 2002, he left industry to pursue his passion, earning his B.A. and M.A. in History at NCCU, where he wrote his thesis on labor activist Wilbur Hobby.
He has been a lecturer at NCCU since 2007. Mosley teaches classes in world, United States, and North Carolina history, and has twice received awards for exemplary teaching. In his spare time, Professor Mosley can be found metal detecting around the state.
