Latrisha Valdez-Rushing leads the planning, execution, and management of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (CEED)’s programs to foster entrepreneurship and economic development. Her work includes strategic planning, business development, and stakeholder engagement, collaborating with faculty, students, and external partners to promote innovation and sustainable growth. She also oversees data-driven initiatives, high-profile events, and marketing strategies that amplify CEED’s impact. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Latrisha is married and has a 12-year-old son. A dedicated mentor and leader, she is committed to ensuring CEED’s continued success within both the university and the broader community.
