Jasmine Benner serves as one of the public health educators for the Research Centers in Minority Institutions (RCMI) Community Engagement Core (CEC). Jasmine graduated from North Carolina Central University in 2022 with a bachelor's in public health education with a minor in women's and gender studies. She is currently finishing her Master of Public Health at Michigan State University. After graduating with her M.P.H., she plans to continue her education and earn a Ph.D.
Jasmine's research interest areas include minority health disparities and sexual and reproductive health, with a focus on HIV/AIDS prevention and care. Jasmine sits on various advisory boards, such as the Duke Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) Community Collaborative Board and Institute for the Development of Young Leaders (IDYL) Charter School.
