Dr. Carolyn Moore is a licensed clinical psychologist and has been working in the field of clinical psychology for over 25 years. She attended UNC Chapel Hill for her undergraduate degree and earned an MS(R) and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Her clinical experience has been with children, adolescents and adults in individual, group, family and couples therapy. Her areas of specialization have been with individuals with a history of victimization or abuse and with severe psychopathology. In addition to counseling, Dr. Moore has provided workshops and training activities in a variety of areas, including rape and domestic violence, conflict and anger management, team building and workplace applications of the Myers-Briggs typology. Dr. Moore has worked at NCCU since 2005. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, dancing, and attending movies.
