Brielle McCaden serves as the assistant director of Academic Support and Development in the TRIO Acce[SSS] program. No stranger to the campus, she is an alumna of North Carolina Central University with a B.A. in Communication Studies (2011) and currently working on her master’s in higher education, graduating in Fall 2024.
In her role as assistant director for the TRIO Student Acce[SSS] Program, Brielle is responsible for the academic support and development of program participants. Brielle and her team work with campus partners to provide students with information and resources such as academic tutoring, study hall, graduate school exposure, supplemental instruction, and general support and guidance. She also aids in managing an annual budget of $272K for TRIO program participants.
Prior to this role, Brielle supported the institution within the University Writing Studio, providing students access through scheduling and administrative support.
