Asha M Ralph
Dr. Ralph is an assistant professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at North Carolina Central University. She has been a faculty member at NCCU since 2022. While a faculty member, Dr. Ralph has served as the Criminal Justice Honor's Program liaison, a Women and Gender Studies affiliate, and advisor of J.E.W.E.L.S., an all-female-led social justice organization, and the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice (NABCJ).
Dr. Ralph's research interests broadly explore the victimization and experiences of African American women and girls within the criminal justice system, and she is currently exploring factors contributing to the phenomenon of missing African American women and girls within the United States.
