Angela K Miles
Dr. Angela Miles' teaching areas encompass management, organizational behavior, and human resource management. She is published in numerous conference proceedings, including the Academy of Management (AOM) Best Paper Proceedings and journals such as International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, Evaluation Review, and Journal of Business Research.
Her abundant presentations have been delivered globally. She has held leadership roles and board membership in various academic and professional organizations at the regional, national, and international levels. Other service honors include serving as a US delegate to the United Nations Education, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) International Conference on Learning Cities, a Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Advisor of the Year award and NCSHRM College Relations Leader, and a University of North Carolina (UNC) System Board of Governors Award for Teaching Excellence.
She has led student groups to Asia, Europe, and South America while also conducting research. She was previously employed in the banking, automotive, and telecommunications industries.
