North Carolina Central University (NCCU) announced a gift of $9.4 million from technology and networking hardware company Cisco Systems Inc., the company’s largest gift to any HBCU.
After the birth of Jasmine Pittman’s first son, she sought a career that would provide a flexible schedule. Her interest in computer science, especially the cybersecurity aspect led her to NCCU.
Cisco is extending its decade-long support of technology education at NCCU School of Business by helping to develop a new cybersecurity certificate program for the university.
