The Department of Psychology promotes the highest standards in teaching, scholarship, and research, thereby creating new paradigms for psychosocial health and well-being in an ever-changing world. Our diverse and highly trained faculty provide a variety of research and teaching experiences for students in theoretical and applied psychology. Our departmental courses, based upon empirically determined theory, are designed to be dynamic and functional and to give students an integrated knowledge of learning, development, maturation, and related adaptation processes.
