The NCCU Sound Machine is a marching band that performs at all home games and select away games during the football season. The Sound Machine is a central feature of the university, with many performances with audiences of over 80,000.

The Sound Machine Marching Band performs regularly — and not just at NCCU football games! For instance, the band has played at professional sports events, local and national marching band contests and on national television many times throughout its 80-year history. Ways to Give to the Band

You can give online to the band through the NCCU Foundation. Simply use the link below and choose "Concert/Marching Band Fund" from the dropdown list. NCCU Foundation, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) that receives private gifts and donations for the university. These gifts are utilized to increase educational opportunities and provide scholarship support for students. In addition, as an independent, charitable agency, the foundation can accept and liquidate non-cash gifts for the university that it may not be able to accept on its own.

The NCCU Sound Machine Booster Club (SMBC) extends an invitation to all NCCU alumni, fans, and friends of the NCCU "Sound Machine" Division of Bands to become active members of our organization and help us support the band that supports NCCU.
