Attorney Allison has been reappointed to a second term by the UNC Board of Governors, extending until June 30, 2027.
Attorney Allison was appointed by the North Carolina General Assembly—President Pro Tempore of the Senate—to a full four-year term from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2027.
He has been in the active practice of law for over 20 years and is the founder of the Allison Office, a law practice serving individuals, nonprofits, and corporations across the State of North Carolina in numerous areas of law.
He received his bachelor’s degree in political science and English from North Carolina Central University (class valedictorian) and a J.D. from the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill.
Attorney Allison and his wife, Kimberly, reside in Creedmoor, NC.
