Manuhe Abebe, a junior, is a Mass Communications major with a concentration in Public Service at NCCU. He is from Apex, NC.
As an incoming student at NCCU, he was chosen as one of NCCU’s 2021 Renaissance Scholars. The Renaissance Foundation is a private, non-profit family foundation providing scholarships for high-achieving, first-in-family college students through the Renaissance Scholars Program.
Mr. Abebe recently participated in the HBCU Venture Capital Fellows. He is also active in university organizations, including the Africa American Male Initiative and Aspiring Eagles Academy. He serves as the public relations director for NCCU’s Student Government Association. In 2021, he was chosen as NCCU’s Student Government Association president and will serve a one-year term ending in 2023. He was sworn in as a NCCU Board of Trustees member on June 22, 2022.
