Financial Assistance
The North Carolina Central University School of Law is committed to providing all possible financial assistance to eligible students to help them pursue and plan a legal education. The School of Law offers three-year merit scholarships to incoming students who are high academic achievers and have demonstrated financial need. To retain the scholarship, a returning student must remain in good academic standing. All scholarships and grants are awarded in tandem with any other financial aid that a student may receive so that the total award does not exceed the demonstrated need. Students who would like to be considered for scholarships should apply early.

The University Scholarship Database opens on October 1 each year and closes on February 28. When the University Scholarship Database opens, it is for the upcoming academic year, not the current academic year. Apply for scholarships now.
