The ITS CIO's Office at NCCU is a dynamic team dedicated to providing strategic leadership and administrative support for the ITS Division. The office is led by the Chief Information Officer (CIO), who oversees IT services and initiatives' strategic direction and overall management. The Business Officer handles financial operations, budget management, and resource allocation, ensuring the efficient use of resources. The Administrative Support Associate also assists the Business Officer with administrative tasks, enhancing the office's productivity and efficiency. Supporting the CIO, the Executive Assistant to the CIO manages schedules, communications, and special projects, facilitating seamless operations. Together, this team ensures that the ITS Division operates smoothly and effectively, supporting the technological needs of NCCU.

The ITS CIO's Senior Leadership Team at NCCU comprises dedicated professionals committed to advancing the university's technological capabilities and ensuring seamless IT operations. The Associate CIO/IT Director of IT Governance, Consulting, and Outreach oversees IT governance frameworks, provides strategic consulting, and fosters outreach initiatives to align IT services with university goals. The IT Director of Infrastructure manages the university's IT infrastructure, ensuring robust, reliable, and scalable network and system operations. The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) leads the information security program, protecting the university's data and systems from cyber threats. The Director of Enterprise Application and Development Services supervises the development and maintenance of enterprise applications, supporting critical university functions and enhancing user experiences. The Director of Client Services ensures exceptional IT support and services for faculty, staff, and students, focusing on customer satisfaction and efficient issue resolution. The Director of Classroom, Computer, and Events Support manages technical support for classrooms, computer labs, and university events, ensuring that all technological needs are met seamlessly. This leadership team collaborates to drive innovation, maintain security, and provide exceptional IT services across NCCU.

Provides a single point of contact for NCCU’s faculty, staff, and students to assist with the solving of technical issues and directing technical issues to the appropriate area in ITS, if the issue cannot be resolved by one of the Client Services areas. Those areas include the Eagle Technical Assistance Center (phone/email support), Eagle Technical Center (walkup, personal computer assistance) and Student Printing support.

Enhances and reinforces the learning experience for our students, the teaching experience for our faculty, and the administrative experience of our staff through their use of technology. This includes offering the very best and most responsive customer service possible, in addition to education and empowerment with campus technology. CCES continues to intentionally position ourselves on campus as consultants for our customers.

The EIS team encompasses several key areas: Enterprise Administration Services (EAS), Enterprise Development Services (EDS), Enterprise Reporting Services (ERS), Enterprise Other Services (EOS), and Web Services. This team is responsible for the comprehensive support of Ellucian Banner, the university's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and its related components. They also handle university and governmental reporting and other systems that interface with the Banner ERP. The primary objective of the team is to provide the latest technology trends in administrative systems to administrators, faculty, staff, and students, as well as manage the university's public web presence, mobile application, portal, and content management system (CMS)Their goal is to ensure the university's ERP system remains online and available, enabling university constituents to conduct their day-to-day business with minimal service interruptions.

Consists of the following areas: Network Services, Telecommunication Services and Server Support Services. The Infrastructure Services team is responsible for providing and supporting core technology services such as local network and Internet access, Wi-Fi connectivity, voice/video communication services, email services, user accounts and network file storage. The mission of the team is to provide a highly available, flexible, and advanced technology infrastructure in an efficient, cost effective and timely manner to the University.

The IT Governance, Outreach, and Consulting team is responsible for enterprise database administration, project management, training, ITS communications, and strategic planning. The team is responsible for developing/maintaining policies, procedures, and standards that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. The team ensures that the organization's IT strategies harmonize with overall business objectives, playing a crucial role in strategic planning and execution. Through outreach programs, they educate internal stakeholders on IT policies and compliance measures, fostering a culture of awareness and adherence. Additionally, they collaborate with external partners and vendors, optimizing technology usage and enhancing capabilities through strategic consulting. Their work managing organization-level agreements (OLAs) and service-level agreements (SLAs) ensures that services meet the university's needs efficiently and effectively. Together, these efforts ensure that NCCU's IT operations are robust, secure, and aligned with the institution's goals.

Charged with safeguarding and coordinating the protection of the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all information processed, stored, or transmitted using university electronic resources.
