Physics, Engineering Physics Concentration, BS

Program Overview

The Engineering Physics concentration (Physics BS) provides broad training in physics and mathematics and develops sufficient depth in engineering science to allow graduates to relate basic knowledge to practical problems in engineering. The curriculum teaches students how to work in areas where technology changes rapidly or where the boundaries of several traditional engineering disciplines overlap, such as nanomaterials/devices, lasers, superconductors, and semiconductors.
