Music, Music Industry Concentration, B.M.

Program Overview

The Music Industry Concentration is designed to acquaint students with the concepts and methodologies of the music industry; to give students an introduction to digital music production technology; to provide specialized career preparation for the contemporary music profession; and to focus on the legal, financial, and ethical aspects of a career in music.

This concentration offers two separate tracks: Business, which is ideal for students interested in combining music performance with knowledge of business finance and marketing, and Media/Communications, which focuses on current trends in mass communications and related technology.
