Program Overview
The Modern Foreign Language concentration in Spanish (Elementary Education BA) prepares candidates to use knowledge of the Spanish language and culture with school-age children and adolescents. Candidates are exposed to a broad range of foreign language concepts, including fundamental knowledge, oral and written expression, and Spanish culture and civilization. The Elementary Education degree with a Modern Foreign Language concentration in Spanish prepares candidates for teaching in public elementary schools and leads to an initial K–6 teaching license in the state of North Carolina.
