The Art Studies concentration is focused on the practice and theory of art, which provides the foundation for students’ independent exploration and artistic development. As a student in the Art Studies program, you will engage in interdisciplinary intellectual work based on theory, analysis, history, and art and design methods and materials investigation. Arts Studies graduates get jobs in arts administration or studio management and as art curators, art critiques, or art historians. Students earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art (Art, B.A.) within four years, with a concentration in Art Studies.
