On February 23, 2021, the Honorable Stacy E. Lee was appointed by the Virginia General Assembly to become a judge on the Henrico County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. A native of Richmond, Virginia, Stacy received her Bachelor of Arts in public policy with a minor in dance from the College of William & Mary in 2006 and a Juris Doctor from NCCU School of Law in 2009.
During her legal practice, Stacy handled civil matters spanning the areas of contract, landlord-tenant, family, estate, collection and personal injury law. She also worked as a criminal defense attorney privately and as a public defender.
Stacy has served as president of the Old Dominion Bar Association and the Hill-Tucker Bar Association, the statewide and local Black bar associations, respectively. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and the Society, Incorporated.
Stacy was recognized in the 2017 class of Up and Coming Lawyers and in the 2019 class of Influential Women in the Law by Virginia Lawyers Weekly. Stacy’s motto in life is “Knock, Knock Again, Knock Harder, Knock Until A Door Opens!”
Stacy is married to Orlando Woodson, and together, they have two marvelous little boys, Felix and Phoenix.
