Commencement Speaker: Reggie A. McCrimmon
Reggie A. McCrimmon is an ambitious leader and trusted advisor in government affairs and external engagement, with a career spanning the tech industry, philanthropy, and Capitol Hill.
He currently serves as senior vice president at Crossroads Strategies, where he advises Fortune 500 clients on navigating complex regulatory landscapes and advancing impactful legislative strategies. Previously, Reggie held pivotal roles at Google and X (formerly known as Twitter), managing global policy portfolios that shaped conversations around social media, consumer safety, artificial intelligence, and social impact.
A trusted strategist and communicator, Reggie has advised members of Congress, led international advocacy campaigns, fostered public-private partnerships, prepared executives for congressional testimony, and represented corporate interests on major stages.
His early career includes serving the U.S. House of Representatives and leading external affairs for the Congressional Black Caucus. Additionally, he was proudly elected by his congressional peers as president of the Congressional Black Associates, an organization responsible for the development and advancement of Black staffers on Capitol Hill.

Reggie is a graduate of North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC, where he obtained a bachelor's in Political Science. He served two terms as student body president and student on the Board of Trustees.
He resides in the DC Metro area, with his wife, Nadia, and is a proud girl dad of toddlers Ava and Emerie.
