The NCCU Division of Student Affairs (DSA) Office of Marketing and Communications serves as the strategic communication hub for the Division, amplifying the reach and impact of DSA programs, initiatives, and services. Our mission is to create dynamic, student-centered marketing and communication strategies that inform, engage, and enhance the holistic experience of our Eagles at The Nest. 

Through brand storytelling, digital engagement, strategic outreach, and cross-campus collaboration, we ensure that students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders remain connected to the wealth of resources and opportunities that support student success.

Mission

The NCCU Division of Student Affairs Office of Marketing and Communications is dedicated to enhancing the student experience by developing strategic, student-centered communication initiatives that inform, engage, and empower Eagles. Through innovative marketing, digital storytelling, and collaborative outreach, we amplify the impact of Student Affairs programs and services, ensuring students have access to resources that support their academic, social, and personal success at the Nest.

What We Do

Brand Development and Strategic Messaging

We establish and maintain a strong, student-centered brand identity that aligns with NCCU’s mission. Through cohesive messaging, we ensure that Student Affairs programs, services, and resources are effectively communicated to students, faculty, and the community.

Digital Media and Content Creation

We manage digital engagement through social media, website updates, email campaigns, and digital signage. Our team develops creative content, including graphics, videos, and interactive storytelling, to capture student interest and enhance engagement.

Event Marketing and Promotion

We design and implement marketing campaigns to promote Student Affairs events, including Homecoming, Eagle Mania, wellness programs, and leadership initiatives. By using targeted outreach, we maximize student participation and awareness.

Public Relations and Crisis Communication

We work closely with university leadership to deliver timely and accurate updates regarding campus safety, policy changes, and emergency communications. Additionally, we manage public relations efforts to highlight student success, initiatives, and impactful stories.

Collaborative Partnerships and Outreach

We partner with student organizations, campus departments, and community stakeholders to amplify messaging and enhance student engagement. Through strategic collaboration, we support initiatives that strengthen the student experience at NCCU.

Data and Analytics for Marketing Strategy

We leverage data insights, student feedback, and engagement analytics to assess the effectiveness of our marketing strategies. By using key performance metrics, we refine communication efforts to better reach and serve our students.
