In the wake of the hardships that our neighbors are facing due to the recent natural disasters, many have reached out to North Carolina Central University about our relief efforts. As a community, we can offer support in the following ways.
The NCCU Student Emergency Fund is designed to provide short-term assistance for housing, food, and other essential resources, helping current NCCU students navigate challenging circumstances and continue their academic journey.
The Office of Community Engagement and Service wants to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported and participated in the Hurricane Helene Support Supply Drive and Drop-Off. With your help, we were able to transform lives and help those in need during this time of hardship.
This service trip is open to all students (limited space for graduate and professional students). Governor Cooper said, "It is no exaggeration to describe Helene as the deadliest and most damaging storm ever to hit North Carolina." NCCU will be there in the spring to support the community.
