How to Donate

Food Pantry Volunteers

Drop-off: Donations can be dropped off at the Miller-Morgan Health Sciences Building, Room 204C, any time during our open hours or by appointment. We may also arrange a curbside dropoff with advance notice. Please contact [email protected].

Pick-up: The NCCU Campus Pantry has the capacity to arrange reasonable donation pickup from the Durham and Triangle area. Please contact [email protected] to arrange a donation pick-up with advance notice.

Online Giving: The NCCU Campus Pantry is financially supported through the NCCU Campus Pantry Foundation. To make a monetary donation, select “NCCU Campus Pantry” from the drop-down menu when making a donation.

Amazon Wishlist: The NCCU Campus Pantry is willing to accept donations via Amazon. Follow this link to order and ship items directly to the Campus Pantry.

Organize a Collection Drive: We would love to support you in hosting a collection drive for your community group or organization! Please contact [email protected] to discuss details and opportunities for collaboration.

What to Donate

The Campus Pantry accepts donations of factory-sealed, non-perishable foods and drinks, produce that has been refrigerated or frozen, and non-food necessities like toiletries, cleaning supplies, or paper goods. Donations of perishable goods need to be made during business hours.

FAQs for Donations

We aim to provide the Eagles community with safe, accessible, and nutritious food and meals. We encourage people to consider the following items when making a donation to the Campus Pantry:

Items in this condition may not be used, and we cannot accept expired items.

Unhealthy and uncommon meal items may not be able to be used by our community and will limit the capacity and storage of the Pantry. Pop-top cans are always helpful, as not all of our shoppers have can openers.

Yes, we have two refrigerators and one large freezer.  We can accept meat, but it must be frozen and in smaller portions (no bulk size).  Fresh fruits go fast, as well as eggs, yogurt, and cheese.

Yes, we take toiletry items (deodorant, feminine hygiene products, shampoo, etc.). We will also accept new or gently used small appliances (air fryer, toaster over, hot plate, etc.). We do not take clothes.
