Several students campaigned this spring to obtain spots on the North Carolina Central University Student Government Association and Royal Court. The new student-leaders for the 2019-2020 academic year are eager to provide exemplary leadership and execute their platforms.
For the 2019-2020 academic year, the executive board will include Brandon Hedgebeth as SGA president, Bridgett Rogers as vice president and Ti’Eja Woodson as Miss NCCU.
Hedgebeth, a senior history and English double major from High Point, N.C., developed the Lay the Foundation platform. His goal is to encourage collective action through engagement and interaction with the student body to make a lasting impact.
Woodson is a Richmond, Va., native and senior business administration major with a concentration in human resources. Her platform entitled Championship, encourages students to become champions in the classroom, through community service and advocates for breast cancer awareness.
