Alumni Oral History Project
Eagle Stories
We are excited to announce our upcoming Alumni Oral History Project, and we encourage you to tell us your story! Every Eagle has a story, and we want to capture and preserve your alumni stories and experiences from your time here on the sloping hills and verdant green.
Starting Monday, February 5, 2024, we will partner with Publishing Concepts, Inc. (PCI) to capture and preserve your story in a book that celebrates NCCU's impact on your lives and who you are today. PCI will complete the project and mail publications in the spring of 2025.
In addition to collecting stories, PCI will be assisting with collecting updated contact information for our alumni to ensure we have the best information available for you to stay connected with your Eagle family. Please see below for our most frequently asked questions.

We have partnered with PCI (also known as Publishing Concepts) to produce an Oral History Publication for North Carolina Central University. PCI is a family-owned business based in Dallas, TX, that has published directories for educational institutions, fraternities, sororities, and military organizations across the nation for over 100 years. This project allows us to hear about your personal experiences from your time at North Carolina Central University and how the school helped to shape your life since then. In addition, while we have you on the phone, we want to make sure your contact information is up to date.
Yes, in a few different ways:
