NCCU complies with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), which requires all colleges and universities that participate in federal financial aid programs to maintain and disclose campus safety and security related policies and crime statistics for crimes that occur on and near their respective campuses.

Annual Security and Fire Safety Reports
The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is a tool to utilize for informational purposes when the reader wishes to make an inquiry regarding campus safety. It also provides steps you can take to maximize your personal safety. The goal of the entire NCCU community is to remain in compliance with the Clery Act and to be totally transparent when reporting crimes.

The CSA Reference Manual is a guide for campus security authorities (CSAs). It explains the following:
- The role of a CSA
- Crime reporting
- Clery crimes and the definition of each crime
- Hate crimes

- Classifying crimes

Clery Geography Map
The Clery Geography Map outlines NCCU’s Clery Jurisdiction. Clery crimes that occur within any of the areas identified on the map must be reported within the university’s Clery reporting.
