Students, staff, faculty, and visitors have the right to appeal a campus parking or traffic citation issued for violation of the university’s parking and traffic regulations. Appeal forms are available from the NCCU Police Department. A downloadable form is available in an Adobe formatted Appeal Form. A Citation Appeal Board consisting of staff, faculty, and students reviews appeals. An appeal must be filed with the NCCU Police Department within five days of the date of the citation. Once the appeal has been heard and a decision made, notice is sent to the appellant informing him or her of the decision.
