Parking on campus is “Zoned” parking. A North Carolina Central University parking permit authorizes the vehicle to be parked in specific areas according to the permit designation.
All students will be required to park in their designated parking areas., You will not be allowed to move your car from a designated parking area. All cars parked illegally will be ticketed up to 3 parking tickets, after which the vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense.
NOTE: If you are parked in a Reserved Parking Lot or Handicap you will be ticketed only once and your vehicle will be towed.
Students, Staff, and faculty hang tags will be placed on the rearview mirror facing out.
Please drive safely and park legally. The University has its own parking rules and regulations that supplement North Carolina Motor Vehicle Laws. Parking and traffic regulations are enforced twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
