University Career Services and its staff serve the career needs of all NCCU students. Our Career Counselors can help
you to realize your career goals.
Our vision is to be recognized among our higher education peers as a character builder of tomorrow’s workers. Our
mission is to assist students in identifying, articulating and leveraging their strengths, skills and interests into
meaningful work experiences that satisfy their career goals. We do this through career exploration, self-assessment,
experiential learning opportunities, job hunting strategies and networking. We offer a number of individual and group
services to help build career successes in our students, make them marketable and skilled with computer-assisted
opportunities while expanding and promoting their abilities and understanding of how to be successful in college and in
life.

Our best advice when you pass through the doors of this University is: DO NOT WAIT UNTIL GRADUATION TO COME SEE US! If you want a job after graduation, we will work with you on successful strategies for a successful career. We urge you to begin preparing in your freshman year through the day you walk across the stage to receive your diploma.
