The mission of the NCCU Parents and Family Association is to foster a positive relationship between families of NCCU students and the university community through active engagement, involvement, and communication with the institution resulting in greater student academic success.

The Parents and Family Association was recently repurposed under the Office of Orientation and First-Year Experience. The Executive Board was elected in April 2009. Now, a draft of the Association's Constitution has been completed.
Send an e-mail to parents@nccu.edu with any feedback you have about the draft of the Constitution. The Executive Board will reply to all responses and will take your feedback into consideration prior to submitting the Constitution to the NCCU Administration for final approval.

How to Become Involved:
The NCCU Parents and Family Association utilizes three permanent committees to facilitate involvement and engagement of NCCU families. The committees are as follows:
1.) Membership Committee: Works to build the membership and involvement of the Association
2.) Parents' Liaisons: Stays abreast of resources to serve parents and families of NCCU students and ensures they are shared with the NCCU parents and family body.
3.) Special Projects Committee: Develops and plans parent events, programs, and services
