NCCU’s Student Giving Campaign (SGC) gives students the opportunity to support NCCU. The SGC is led by the Student Government Association in conjunction with the Office of Institutional Advancement to assist in raising funds for the operation of the university. It is the hope of Institutional Advancement to make that experience positive in order to have the graduating seniors continue to give as alumni.

Believe it or not, tuition and state-funding does not provide all of the support necessary to fully operate NCCU. It is the duty of Institutional Advancement to find private support such as charitable giving from our alumni, faculty, staff, parents, corporations, foundations - and yes even our students – to supplement those dollars provided to us. NCCU relies heavily on those private gifts to maintain our quality academic programs and services offered to our students.

Gifts made by NCCU’s SGC donors can:

• Assist to fund scholarships that help shape the lives of students struggling to meet the cost of education.
• Offer University Support by helping the University to enhance educational programs, or provide advancing equipment and facilities technologies.
• Prepare students to continue to give as alumni.

This year, the SGC is looking to raise $10,000. With your gift, we are sure to reach our goal. We urge you to participate. You may do so by giving online or by dropping your gift off at the Annual Fund.
