Support the Eagle Habitat House
North Carolina Central University is collaborating with the Habitat for Humanity of Durham to build a new home for Tijuanda Farrington and her daughter, Constance Farrington. The house, located on Hickory Street, is part of Eagle Village.
Habitat for Humanity of Durham transforms lives and communities by making home ownership possible in partnership with people who care. Habitat has broken ground on 200 homes in Durham since 1985. Families are selected based on housing need, ability to repay the loan in full and willingness to partner with Habitat. Habitat’s 1700 U.S. affiliates believe decent housing is a matter of conscience and action. Habitat for Humanity works in 100 countries worldwide and has built more than 200,000 homes since 1976.
Faculty and Staff can contribute to the Eagle Habitat as part of the NCCU Faculty and Staff Campaign. Gifts can be made through payroll deduction and are tax deductible.
Thanks for supporting the Eagle Habitat House.
