North Carolina Central University's Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations goal is to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with external organizations.  Corporate and Foundation Relations serves as an organization’s one-stop resource for talented students, knowledgeable faculty and staff, and opportunities for philanthropic support.   We make sure investments to North Carolina Central University deliver the strongest bottom-line impact to our partner organizations.

Through developing and maintaining comprehensive partnerships with corporations and foundations, we accomplish our mission of raising funds for academic programs.  Our office works directly with representatives to ensure the philanthropy provided to NCCU is integrated into an organization's overall strategies.

The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations works directly with administrators, faculty, and staff, as well as corporate and foundation representatives, to support North Carolina Central University’s academic, institutional, and research initiatives, priorities, and programs.

Corporate and Foundation Philanthropy

Gifts from corporations and foundations are, of course, an important source of external support for NCCU activities. In addition, NCCU alumni and friends working or recently employed at companies and foundations serve on University boards as well as give countless hours of volunteer service to a wide range of University programs and projects.   Of course, like all gifts to the NCCU Foundation Inc., corporate and foundation gifts are recognized in the University’s Annual Donor reporting.  Various activities and events hosted by, or in conjunction with, corporations and foundations are intended to strengthen and improve undergraduate and graduate education at NCCU, as well as foster healthy recruiting and other opportunities for our student.
